Frequently Asked Questions

To start the selling process, the customer must go to the 'sell book' in our app or website. Now the customer must insert details of the book (ISBN, Pictures etc) and quote the price he wants for the book. The cusomter must also choose his/her preferred way of getting the money (Bank account or PayTM).. After this, the customer will be notified that the ad to sell his book is now live and buyers from all over the country can now view the same book available for purchase. Once a buyer places an order for that particular book - Bookwise will pick up the book from the seller and deliver it to the buyer. Once the buyer accepts the book and approves of its quality, we will then transfer the money into your bank account or PayTM wallet in 5-7 business days.

Bookwise will send you an email about an order being placed for your book. You will then receive instructions on how to pack the book and get it ready for our team member to pick it up.

Standard orders of books purchased will be delivered in 3-5 days. However if you want your order quicker, click on the express delivery option for a one day delivery.

At Bookwise we always strive to procure the best quality of books for our customers and to provide an overall excellent customer experience. The books that we sell as a platform are guaranteed to be of good quality. The books sold by other students on our platform may have wear and tear which is mentioned by the seller under the 'condition of book'. If any book bought by the customer is not up to the standard, they can always raise a complaint or contact us via our app and/or website and apply for a refund or replacement. If a book purchased is not up to the standard expected by the customer, they can apply for a refund or replacement via our app or website. After this process is initiated, we will ask the customer to repack the book in the packaging it came in and get it picked up by our team member. We will then analyse the fault in the book and on the basis of that issue a refund to the customer. The refund will be done in 5-7 business days.

After a customer has entered book details under the "request a book" option, our team will search for the book and get in touch with the customer if found.

We accept all methods of payment: Credit Card, Debit Card, PayTM, Cash on Delivery & Netbanking
